About Jacksons Leasing
Jacksons Leasing is a division of Jacksons Ford, we specialise in the leasing and supply of all makes of both vans and cars. Originally established in 1973 as a motor vehicle repairer by Tony Jackson and his late father Doug Jackson the company specialised in repair of both Land Rover and Rover vehicles due to our proximity to the factories in both Longbridge and Solihull. In 1989 the business expanded to gain franchise status with Ford Motor Company and developed a new purpose build showroom for the supply of new and used Ford vehicles. Further expansion in 2009 saw the construction a new purpose-built workshop incorporating state of the art equipment normally associated with premium brand franchises. We service all makes including specialist vehicles. The last few years have seen consumer buying patterns change towards online purchasing and with this in mind we established Jacksons Leasing in 2022 enabling us to offer all makes of both cars and vans through our close relationships with manufacturers, large motor groups and key finance partners. As a result we are able to offer some of the most competitive leasing deal in the market today.
Throughout our 49-year history we have been a family business with strong values and the belief that through treating our customers with a truly personal service, we ensure that our customers come back to us time and time again. We look forward to celebrating our 50th anniversary with all our fantastic customers next year!
Say Hello to Mat Jackson
Mat is our Sales Director and has been involved in our family business since he was about six years old! On that basis and with an approximate calculation we think that he is the longest serving member of staff by quite some way!
Mat’s daily routine involves the many tasks required to run a busy automotive business and is varied from day to day as you may imagine. One day he may be dealing with our long list of loyal suppliers, negotiating the best deals for our customers so that we can truly offer you the best value personal and contract hire deals on the market today. Another day he may be analysing our IT systems to ensure that our service to our customers is as efficient as it can possibly be, whether we have a new customer making their first enquiry or a valued repeat customer ordering their next vehicle. We have many customers who have dealt with our business for over 30 years, a fact that we are very proud of and inspires us to improve day after day.
Mat has also seen the many changes that have shaped the car and van buying process over the last few years and is fully committed to putting Jacksons Leasing at the forefront of our industry when it comes to personal and business contract hire.
You may recognise Mat’s name from his many years as a front-runner in the BTCC, there’s always a good story to be told spanning the many years of his highly successful career!
Say Hello to Chris Watson
Chris is our Sales Manager and has been with the business for 21 years and is one of our longest serving members of staff.
Chris’s daily routine involves dealing with our loyal customer base and welcoming new customers to our business.
It’s not always plain sailing and occasionally issues crop up from both customers and suppliers and Chris keeps the team focused on delivering great customer outcomes and the excellent service that we have built our business on for the last 50 years.
He's seen many changes over the years, the most striking change is the shift in customer purchasing patterns towards personal leasing through our online channels.
That’s one of the things that he likes most about Jacksons Leasing, our ability to adapt to change and continue to delight our customers.
Chris joined the motor trade as a bright eyed 19 year old and has worked more than half his career at Jacksons, at 50 something he’s still excited about the future.
